I adopted Paisley on June 22nd of this year from CPR. I knew I wanted a puppy and knew that I wanted to go through a rescue so I picked a random weekend during the summer and decided that would be the weekend I would get my pup. I looked at all the dogs online and instantly fell in love with her, no question about it. She was going to be my dog. When I got to the adoption event the couple in front of me was talking about how they wanted puppy number 483, and that was the one my heart was set on. I started panicking and thinking if I had a second choice, but I didn't. If I didn't get her I had no idea what I would do. When we started picking dogs the couple ended up picking a different puppy! I met Paisley and I fell in love. I have never been so sure of something until I met her, I knew she was the perfect one. CPR had told me she was an Australian Shepard mix but as she started growing she wasn't showing much aussie. Her coat is very flat and pure white, she has no shepard colors. So when she turned 6 months I got a DNA test on her. She came back as an Australian Cattle dog American Bulldog mix. I see both breeds in her. She herds like a cattle dog but acts like a bulldog. She is very protective and very independent. She has more energy than I even thought was possible. She's currently going through training to work on aggression on leash and some other of her puppy behaviors! We go to the dog park at least 3 times a week and she goes to day care to play with her friends the other days! She has become my whole world in just 4 months. Paisley has my whole entire heart and I couldn't picture myself with any other dog.
